Head for the Nature Center Gardens. If it's the right time of year, you may be graced by the presence of a variety of butterflies and hummingbirds. The nature center also offers plenty of education programs, including one on outdoor survival. Staff and volunteers will happily answer questions and tell you about their latest projects. CRANBERRY HIGHLANDS GOLF COURSE
It's tee time! Take to the green for a round of golf on this 18 hole course. Fun fact: Cranberry Highlands is not just a golf course; it is also a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary. This means that wildlife, such as birds, deer, and small mammals, call the course their home. To learn more about the Sanctuary, ask for a guided tour or take a loop through the scenic Nature Trail on your own. You may also find yourself interested in the resident bees at Cranberry Highlands. If so, attend a beekeeping seminar at the Community Apiary. Click here to learn about all of the amenities and services offered at this golf course.
Any of these locations will be sure to have you immersed in the outdoors, at least for a little while. Happy adventuring!
