STEPHEN FOSTER MUSEUM
Born in Lawrenceville, Pennsylvania, Stephen Foster was the country's first notable professional songwriter. His first hit was "Oh! Susanna," and during the 1850s, he went on to write his best-known tunes, including "Camptown Races" and "My Old Kentucky Home." Many of his two hundred plus compositions are still popular today. The museum's sound system plays his songs while the fascinating exhibits highlight his storied life and the genres of music he composed.
CARNEGIE MUSEUM OF NATURAL HISTORY
A local landmark since 1895, the Carnegie Museum of Natural History was founded to exhibit the wonders of nature. It's one of the best natural history museums in the United States and inspires a passion for nature, science, and world cultures. Visitors explore dozens of exhibits, including Polar World: Wyckoff Hall of Arctic Life. Featuring an igloo replica, it highlights Canadian Inuits and how they've adapted to a challenging life in the arctic.
CARNEGIE MUSEUM OF ART
As one of the most dynamic art institutions, the Carnegie Museum of Art creates experiences designed to connect people.
