Look Forward To These Spring Events in Cranberry, PA

Spring has sprung around our apartments in Cranberry, Pennsylvania. The birds are singing, flowers are blooming, and your calendar is about to fill up.

Here's a look at a few local events to get you out and about to enjoy the warming April weather.

GAME OF THRONES PARTY

On April 11th, join fellow Game of Thrones fans at Jergel's Rhythm Grille on Slade Lane for a show-themed party. Come out and enjoy trivia, costumes, giveaways, cash prizes, and GoT themed drinks. An Iron Throne will be present for photos and even selfies! General admission and early bird tickets can be purchased at the link above. Doors open at 6 pm and the show begins at 8pm.

BOOK SALE

The Friends of the Library will be hosting a Book Sale from April 11th to 14th. Join local readers and book lovers at the Cranberry Public Library to browse a special collection of discounted books. Thursday the 11th is Preview Night and requires a $5 donation, but you will be able to shop the sale before anyone else and receive a one-year membership with Friends of the Library. Times vary by day, so check the link above for specific hours. Proceeds will benefit programs and services at the library.

LET'S DANCE THE SWING!

Finally, on April 27th, head down to the Cranberry Township Municipal Center and Gym located on Rochester Road for swing lessons. Swing was popular during the 1920s through the 1940s with roots in jazz and is uniquely American. Lessons are from 7 pm to 8 pm and guests are encouraged to perfect their newly learned skills until 10:30 pm. Admission is $10 at the door, but pre-registration is not required.
